Hey friends, pull up a chair and let’s chat about what happened yesterday in Gomba. President Yoweri Museveni opened the gates of his private Kisozi farm for the second round of Jazz with Jajja – the Ranch Edition. Hundreds of Ugandan content creators, influencers, YouTubers, bloggers, and digital hustlers showed up. It was not just another meeting. This one felt real, with cows mooing in the background and everyone talking money, jobs, and the future.

It all kicked off on Saturday, March 1, 2026. Museveni and First Lady Janet Museveni welcomed the crowd right at the farm. First thing? A proper guided tour. The President walked everyone around his famous Ankole cows over 700 of them now, he said. He showed the zero-grazing units, the banana plantations, and explained exactly how he turns farming into real cash. “This is how I harvest money,” he told the creators while pointing at the herds. People pulled out their phones and filmed every step. The energy was high young folks who make a living online were seeing up close how the big man himself builds wealth from the soil.
After the tour, everyone settled under the tents for the main talk. Natasha Museveni Karugire helped run the show. Creators shared their stories – how they started from nothing and built businesses on TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. Museveni listened, then spoke straight about fighting poverty and changing mindsets. He told the youth to stop chasing European football and start creating value instead.
Then came the big moment. Isaac Katende, better known as Kasuku from Dembe FM, stood up and spoke for all the content creators. He asked the President how the government can work with them properly. Museveni did not hesitate. He pledged five billion shillings straight to the organized content creators’ association and their SACCO. “You are now an important part of the economy,” he said. He even promised another meeting next week to sort out the details. The whole place lit up with claps and cheers.
The First Lady sat right there too, nodding along. Everyone got a chance to ask questions and take photos. You could see the excitement on the faces – these are the same young people who usually just post from their phones, now sitting with Jajja himself at his own farm.
This was the second Jazz with Jajja. The first one happened back in January. Museveni is clearly making this a regular thing to connect with the youth who shape opinions online. He called content creation a modern way of advertising and job creation, and he wants to help it grow properly.
Right now, the creators are buzzing on social media. Many posted their videos from the farm tour already. Kasuku himself is smiling wide – he just secured support that could change things for thousands of digital hustlers across the country.
