Vice President Jessica Alupo touched down at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport on Tuesday, joining a high‑level Ugandan delegation for a series of bilateral talks before the 18th BRICS Summit in Hyderabad. Alupo’s itinerary includes meetings with Indian Minister of External Affairs Dr. S. Jaishankar and a round‑table on trade, investment, and renewable energy cooperation. The delegation aims to secure new partnerships in agriculture technology and to promote Uganda’s growing role in the BRICS economic bloc.
