The Uganda People’s Liberation Union (PLU) announced today that its membership has reached a historic 300 individuals, prompting General Muhoozi Kainerugaba to confer honorary membership on Sudhir Patel, the Indian entrepreneur behind the recent education sponsorships in Oyo. In a televised address, Gen. Muhoozi praised Patel’s “visionary commitment to African youth empowerment” and said his inclusion reflects PLU’s expanding network of global allies. The ceremony, held at the National Assembly, also featured a pledge to launch a joint entrepreneurship incubator in Kampala, funded in part by the Patel Foundation.
