GoldStar Insurance celebrated its 30th anniversary this month, highlighting three decades of growth and community service across Uganda. The company’s CEO, Grace Namatovu, unveiled a new “Future Shield” program aimed at expanding micro‑insurance products for smallholder farmers and renewable‑energy projects. In a ceremony attended by the Ministry of Finance and several civil‑society groups, GoldStar pledged to invest UGX 150 billion over the next five years in climate‑resilient infrastructure and financial literacy workshops. The anniversary also saw the launch of a scholarship fund for students pursuing actuarial science, underscoring the insurer’s long‑term vision of building a more secure and prosperous Uganda.
