The Uganda Packaging and Printing Company (UPPC) announced today that it has achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification for its quality‑management system. The certification, granted by the International Standards Organization, validates UPPC’s commitment to consistent product quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement. Managing Director Samuel Kintu said the milestone positions the firm to compete in international markets, particularly in East Africa and the Middle East. UPPC plans to upgrade its production lines with automated printing technology and to launch a new line of eco‑friendly packaging materials by early 2027.
