In contrast, sub-Saharan Africa has seen a decline in these restrictions, suggesting a more tolerant and accepting environment for religious diversity. This trend is significant for Uganda, where religious freedom is a fundamental right. As the country continues to navigate its complex religious landscape, it is essential that the government prioritizes protecting and promoting religious freedom for all citizens.
