Ratko Mladic, the former Bosnian Serb military commander convicted of war crimes and genocide during the 1990s conflict, died on Saturday at the age of 84. Mladic had been serving a life sentence at a prison in The Hague after the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia found him guilty of overseeing the siege of Sarajevo and the Srebrenica massacre.
