The annual India Day celebration, set to take place in New Delhi on August 15, 2026, has announced the Ruparelia Group as one of its principal corporate sponsors. The Ugandan conglomerate, known for its investments in real estate, banking, and hospitality, will fund a series of cultural showcases, including a traditional dance troupe and a technology pavilion highlighting Indo‑African innovation partnerships.
Ruparelia Group CEO James Ruparelia said the sponsorship reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening diplomatic and economic ties between Uganda and India. “Our involvement underscores a shared vision for sustainable development and cultural exchange,” he said during a press briefing in Kampala.
