Nairobi police announced the arrest of five individuals suspected of a motorcycle theft ring after recovering a cache of twelve stolen bikes in the Ndeeba district. The operation, carried out by the Criminal Investigation Department on Tuesday, involved a coordinated raid on a warehouse that was being used as a temporary storage site. Authorities say the motorcycles, valued at roughly Ksh 1.5 million, were slated for resale on the black market. The suspects, all aged between 22 and 34, are being held at the Central Police Station pending further investigation. Police chief John Mutua urged the public to report any suspicious activity related to stolen vehicles.
