The move follows reports of misallocation of funds, substandard seed distribution, and irregularities in livestock procurement. Inspectors will audit project accounts, verify field activities, and interview beneficiaries to ensure compliance with national standards. Minister Sam Kintu stressed that transparency is essential for sustaining donor confidence and achieving food security goals. The inspection is expected to last three months, after which a detailed report will be presented to Parliament, and corrective actions will be mandated for any identified breaches.
