The initiative includes a dedicated green financing desk, ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) advisory services, and a digital platform that scores client projects against international sustainability standards. Bank CEO Sarah Kintu said the program aligns with the bank’s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and responds to rising demand from investors for climate‑responsible investments. Early adopters include a renewable energy firm and a large agribusiness seeking to reduce its carbon footprint.
