Five Suspects Arrested After Police Recover 12 Stolen Motorcycles in Ndeeba

Nairobi police announced on Wednesday that they have detained five individuals suspected of involvement in a string of motorcycle thefts in the Ndeeba area. The operation, which took place early Friday morning, resulted in the recovery of twelve stolen motorcycles, valued at approximately Ksh 3.6 million.

According to the police spokesperson, the suspects were apprehended after a tip-off led officers to a hidden garage on the outskirts of Ndeeba. The recovered motorcycles were in varying conditions, with some still bearing the original owners’ identification plates. The suspects are now being held at the Nairobi Central Police Station and are expected to appear before a magistrate later this week.

The police department has urged the public to report any suspicious activity related to vehicle thefts and has pledged to increase patrols in high‑risk neighborhoods to curb the rising trend of motorcycle robberies.
