GoldStar Insurance marked its 30th anniversary this month, highlighting three decades of growth and service across Uganda’s insurance market. In a ceremony attended by government officials, industry partners and longtime customers, the company unveiled a new corporate social responsibility program aimed at financing renewable energy projects, supporting agricultural cooperatives, and expanding disaster‑risk education in rural communities. CEO Grace Nanyonga said the initiative reflects GoldStar’s commitment to “protecting not just assets, but the future of Uganda’s people and economy.” The firm also announced a 10‑percent increase in its community grant fund, bringing the total pledged amount to over UGX 200 billion since its inception.
