GoldStar Insurance celebrated its 30th anniversary this week, highlighting three decades of growth and community service across Uganda. The ceremony, held in Kampala, featured speeches from the company’s founder, senior executives, and government officials. In a landmark pledge, GoldStar announced a multi‑year “Future‑Guard” program aimed at expanding micro‑insurance products for smallholder farmers, funding climate‑resilient infrastructure, and launching a digital literacy initiative for rural entrepreneurs. The insurer also unveiled a $10 million scholarship fund for students pursuing studies in risk management and actuarial science. “Our mission has always been to protect people’s lives and livelihoods,” said CEO Grace Nanyanzi. “As we look ahead, we are committed to building a more secure and prosperous Uganda for the next generation.”
