Stanbic Bank Uganda has launched an aggressive expansion of its unsecured loan portfolio, rolling out a refreshed “Oli in Charge” marketing campaign aimed at both households and small‑to‑medium enterprises. The new initiative offers quick‑approval personal loans, micro‑business financing, and education loans with flexible repayment terms and competitive interest rates. Bank officials say the move responds to rising demand for credit among Ugandans who lack collateral but need capital for school fees, home improvements, or inventory purchases. The campaign, featuring local influencers and community outreach events, is expected to increase the bank’s loan book by up to 20 percent in the next twelve months while supporting the government’s financial inclusion agenda.
